Midlife crisis can wait, yet feeling weathered and beaten like an artefact from eons passed, those fresh peepers blurring fast, what\u2019s here today goes by in a flash,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seen and done too many already, what more lies in wait? First-times are dwindling, they don\u2019t come as easily,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Never too old to add to the toolbox, keep expanding that mind,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stay young forever, but there\u2019s no stopping Father Time,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gone are the early days, feeling wild and carefree,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overtaken by responsibility, fun and games are over, gotta grind now \u2018til you\u2019re R.I.P,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And what of that elusive other? Should\u2019ve crossed paths already,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Might have met long ago, maybe you went different directions, perhaps it\u2019s not to be, God and the universe have spoken,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the script can make adjustments, expect the unexpected,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just have to keep at it, keep those eyes open,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
