They arrived fifteen minutes later, both coppers Caucasian,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, we got to talking, they wanted our version of\nevents, they asked the other dude first, the reason I can\u2019t fathom,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Off he goes ranting \u2018bout how he beat me into that concrete\ncircle on the street, practically spitting before dragging proceedings into\nplaces ignorant and cringy,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the reaction from the coppers truly was something quite disturbing,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shared similarities to the culprit, yes I mean their skin\ntone, they seemed to look at one another, I don\u2019t like where this is going,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Had to collect myself, can\u2019t show no emotions, the odds stacked\nagainst me now, time to tip the scales in my favour,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Calmly told my side of the story, how I\u2019d been at the\ncrossing first, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
How our old, angry and bearded friend flew from out of nowhere,\nit was pure human error so not gonna judge him by his colour, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Having heard both sides, coppers ordered us to our\nrespective quarters, to call our insurance companies and let \u2018em sort through\nthe rubble,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bad news for the other driver, took the low road and he\nain\u2019t even covered,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Way to play yourself, Mister, total costs are gonna give you\nulcers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dialled my insurance folks, informed them of what happened,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hoping I\u2019d get off easy, that they\u2019d proclaim me not guilty,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sure enough they said that they\u2019d handle it, sadly gotta get\nthat car towed then repaired,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
